News! SW Ohio Limited Time Small Manufacturers Grants That Must Be Used by September 2023

You may have already heard about the Small Manufacturers Grant offered by our regional national Manufacturing Extension Partner (MEP), TechSolve. This grant presents a remarkable chance for manufacturers like yourself to secure funding that can contribute to the growth and success of your business.
Did you know that these types of grants can be used for services from third parties that support lead generation, such as websites and marketing plans? This means that in addition to funding services related to expanding production capabilities and adopting new technologies, the Small Manufacturers Grant offered by TechSolve MEP can also provide support for enhancing your online presence, developing effective marketing strategies, and ultimately driving more leads to your business.
The Small Manufacturers Grant offered by TechSolve MEP has specific eligibility criteria and funding requirements. Here are the key points to consider:
- Manufacturing firms must meet certain NAICS Sector Codes for Manufacturing.
- The firm must be located in the 7 County Region they serve (Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland, and Warren).
- The business should be small in size, defined by having fewer than 100 employees.
- To qualify, the company must be a new client to TechSolve, meaning they haven’t worked with TechSolve in the past 3 years.
- Grant funds must be used with a third-party vendor for various services, including marketing consulting, websites, lead generation, technology vetting, prototyping, and consulting, among others.
- It’s important to note that the funds must be utilized before the end of September.
